Drying Your Marijuana Plants Before Curing

Ideally you have invested your time, your energy, and your finances in cultivating the best medicinal cannabis for your use. And now harvesting time has also been so ideal that you do not feel any regrets for taking your time. So how to grow weed has finally paid off. However you have to correctly cure the buds before you can start rejoicing. Curing usually helps you to get full harvest from your plants. And if done in the following ways may just get you that harvest that you really need.

You may want to prepare your harvest by drying them first before you decide to cure. From there you will then decide to cure them. However while drying them, since direct light such as sunlight is usually avoided, you should consider using cardboard boxes, or simply normal boxes. Usually if you choose to use a box then removing the leaves can help your buds to dry more evenly. Yet you can also use a well aerated room or a closet. In doing so you will notice that due to the adequate space you will find that the process can wait until you are ready to start the curing process.

While drying you should also keep a close eye on your cannabis for any signs of mold or mildew. Usually how to grow weed is always too much engrossing and therefore it is always ideal to ensure that ideal ventilation and fan is in place throughout the drying process. But drying is usually a vital step prior to harvesting your buds. The more you keep up with it the higher it is that you will make the most out of your plants.

But even in this process caution must be taken. If you are living in a rented apartment you should find the best ways in which you can keep out the initial smell of your plants during the drying process. So be sure to either close the doors and other openings for a few days or have an apartment that sits pretty at the highest corner of the building. This usually allows the smell to be directed off to the atmosphere.

Depending on the time that you have chosen to cure your buds, it is usually best if any form of direct sunlight is avoided. Sunlight for instance is one major form of direct light that you do not need near your harvested branches.
