Uses of The Tuff Tape

This revolutionary adhesive tape is used to hem the ends of your banner. By using the double sided tape to secure the ends of your banner, additional durability and strength can be achieved. This Important step adds to the longetivity of your banner and helps in the general appearance of the finished product.

A tuff tape is a resilient material, not to mention its self adherence, clarity, almost puncture proof, strong and a little bit stretchy. You can choose to either use a precut TUFF Tape Patch or a strip of TUFF Tape and stick it on a leak or rip on an inflated item or tent. It can be used to make anything from inflated RIBs to leather shoes. When you pass them through washing machines together with cloths, tuff tapes remain in good shape.

·         The tape is double coated
·         It is acrylic adhesive
·         Non yellowing, ultra clear
·         Has a permanent stick
·         Resistant to UV rays
·         Comes in a 1*35 yard roll.

Tuff tape is ideal for making instant banner hems. The transparent, double sided, heavy duty tape is resistant to temperature fluctuations, moisture, and water. The tape gives high quality adhesion which ensures a permanent bond to plastics for signage or plaques, brass, wood and aluminum.

Steps on how to apply tuff tape to your banner

Start by Applying the required length of tuff tape II to the back of your banner between the grommets
Secondly, Cut the tape and banner which is between the grommets and remove the protective liner to expose adhesive.

Fold the taped edge over, burnish down with an applicator to permanently secure the banner. You can visit Jeff Campbell CAMBRIDGE CANVAS for more information about tuff tape.

This tape is suitable for other applications such as, trim, ribbons, flags, rubber stamps, license plate frames, plaques and hold signs. Tuff tapes come in different sizes. That means that it is important that you first understand where you will be using the tape. There are also tuff patches which can be used on sealing leaks on canvas and tents. These ones come very handy when camping, as they work perfectly on damaged ground sheets as well as tents. They can also be used to seal leaks on water containers and cracked buckets.
