Walking through my divorce wasn’t an easy time for me.
And while my divorce attorney did a good job in pushing things quickly, that
didn’t solve all my anxieties either. The reality was that after twelve years
of marriage I was going to have to start all over again.
Usually the same will apply for anyone who has initiated
a divorce process, after the division of wealth, determination of kids’
custody, the change of personal will, and the final decree, it downs on you
that you will have to step out and begin an all-alone new life.
But with such a sudden change of life and a new sense of
responsibility our lifestyle will need to change too. Without proper
adjustments many of us will snap under the pressure. And trust me you do not
want to lose it right in front of your kids and family members.
So how best can you handle life after divorce, rebuild
your foundation, and make a great comeback to life? Here is what I did for me
and which left me with stunning results.
I Took My Time To Grieve
Believe me or not, the breakup of marriage is nothing
compared to the trauma of a fatal car crash.
And whether you wanted the divorce or not, the truth is that you will
need time to grieve, since this will be important in repairing your torn-up
emotions like Kircher Law, P.A. states.
I Talked To Friends
You could be thinking that everyone around you is in fact
talking behind your back, but it could surprise you to find out that no one is.
If only you reach out and talked to a few loved ones who have gone through the
same, it will provide you with better ideas on how to rebuild your life and
live a more fulfilling one.
I Found Professional Help
Talking to friends and loved ones is a great idea. But
sometime it might not be quite fulfilling. Friends might only provide you with
the needed consolation, but never help you to solve the problem. A professional
say a counselor however will assist you in determining how to solve your
problem and how to walk out of the situation.
I Found A New Click
Well you could be wondering why but let me say that while
I kept my old friends, I formed new ones too. New friends will not judge or
point fingers like some of your old pals would. They will accept you as you
are, and keep prejudice at bay. Above all it’s a better chance of getting a new
person and settling down again.
Other people will keep journals and some start dating
again, but whichever way you do it, my advice to you – don’t rush things like
one divorce attorney Miami told me. Rather take it slow and build a better and
stronger life.
