5 Super Cool Ways To Create An Interesting Photo Background

It must have hit you that there aren’t many photos with white backgrounds today. There are very many reasons for this. Basically, you will find photos pretty much boring and unimaginative the moment you try shooting from a poor background. And the way I see it, every photo matters and it’s the job of any photographer, professional or not to make every photo to stand out. Here are a few ways that you can achieve this.

Magnify The Bokeh Effect

The bokeh effect is essentially the aesthetic quality of any parts of your photography that is out of focus. For example is you have a great subject that’s sitting pretty close you can maximize on the bokeh effect by using a wide aperture, creating depth and capturing a part of the background that will have an almost equal appeal as the subject itself.

Go With the Rules of Thirds

The rule of thirds dictates that photos should be divided in nine equal parts. Imagine two lines cutting across the photo horizontally and two others cutting though the photo vertically. If they are equally spaced they will divide the photo into nine equal parts. This will allow you to include the background that everyone can see and get your point of focus easily. See how the Modern Photo Booth Las Vegas uses this rule on their coolest shots.

Using The Background Lines

Vertical, converging, and diagonal lines in photography will create a very powerful shot if used well. They will draw the viewers eyes to a certain direction or let’s just say where you want them to be, but that’s a story for another day. When used on the background, lines will add a subtle or an interesting twist to the photo more so if the lines are sharp and soft all at the same time.

Include Background Subjects

If you include another subject in your background you will brush out the monotony of having a single subject that steals the beauty of the background. In a very candid setup the background is a powerful addition, especially if it comes with small time contrast will make you spoilt for choice on where to focus on thus creating an awesomely striking balance.

Don’t Run From The Light

If you have a camera that has a narrow or no-so-wide lens, leaving the light to shine directly into the camera lens can give you some super-cool shots. The same will apply when you light up your background. In fact illuminating the background has given me some cool photos from every one of the Open photo booths Las Vegas that I have visited. So try it out first.

You wouldn’t realize it until your photo is out there and no one is drawn to it. That is why it is very important to imagine your photo before you settle down to taking it. Doing so will save you a lot of time and keep your job looking extremely flawless.

5 Signs Of Employee Workplace Violence

Work place violence is quite rampant in America today. In fact the Bureau of Labor reports that over 2 million Americans face the effects of workplace violence annually. However finding the signs of employee workplace violence can be quite tough to pick out. With the right training and experience however, you will be able to look into a broad range of factors including initiated deaths, severe injuries, and many more. Here are the smartest signs of workplace violence every employee should watch out for.

Substance Abuse

In case of an employee’s change of mood and character, plus any signs of the use any abused drugs or substances including alcohol and cocaine among the rest, chances could be they are so stressed out, threatened, or simply have their rights getting violated. Use of these substances is often to ward of any anxiety including the fear of workplace discrimination by their seniors.

Needful Supervision

When an employee is hired, they will commit to an ability to deliver with minimal supervision and within the required timeline. However, an employee that depicts too much need for constant need for supervision and often requires the supervisor to spend more time in the vicinity could be signaling for an urgent need for help. Such changes should be taken seriously and followed up.

Love For Weapons

Someone who depicts an acute love for weapons including guns, clubs, swords, war chains, and many others for their protection should keep everybody in red alert. They could be looking for ways to plan an attack of protect themselves from potential attacks.

Poor Work Habits

Change of work habits could signal workplace discrimination in form of employee violence. If your employee’s output, productivity, and work habits have become inconsistent or plain poor, the manager should consider this an ideal reason to suspect someone is in real need for help. In fact this should be more telling if the employee’s peers are doing a great job compared to theirs.

Notorious Absence

Employees who are constantly coming up with numerous excuses to leave work early or leave work constantly without any permission or authorization should raise the easiest tell tale alarms especially if the individual is often prompt and very much committed to working for a full day. Usually they might be escaping from the heat of the moment of bring hen pecked by colleagues.

It is extremely important for an organization to have in place a result oriented methodology that can identify and assist such victims before they harm or get harmed.

6 Awesome Tips To Nail Major Discounts On Your Home Appliances

Buying a new electrical home appliance can be fun. It can also be stressful, more so if you are a dummy in this line of errands. All the same everyone who gets out to go shopping for an electric home appliance requires the perfect deals. Mostly, a deal that allows them to save some dollars on top. Here are a few tips you could use to nail major discounts when buying home appliances.

Check For Tax Credits
. There are a number of things that will give you tax credits when buying home appliances. The main one that works for most electrical appliances include tax credits on the most ideal energy efficient appliances. This is one main way of encouraging people to buy energy efficient appliances as they require less electricity, thus save power and lower utility bills.

Learn The Accessories
. Today the trendiest home appliances are some of the most demanding machines. Your stainless steel stove could smoke so much forcing you to buy an exhaust fan J, your high tech washer dryer combo could have so much force and require you to reinforce your floors. Therefore before buying research for the best models and save on extra adjustments.

Shop At The Right Time
. The periods between September, October, January, and May are some of the best periods to shop in my area. In addition to that are the periods within major holidays. During these times many electrical stores will offer great discounts and sales bonanzas that you could benefit from. Check out for Black Friday, Thanksgiving, and just after the holidays.

Check For Prices Match
. There is one rule I learnt with negotiations, if you don’t ask you will never know. Sometimes retailers will match competitor’s coupons and others will price match other retailers. Ask around for such and scale several retailers for the right information before shopping so that you get the exact retailers that will offer a price matching opportunity.

Use Online Resources
. There are a number of online resources that can come in handy in doing this for you. First you can scale the net for the best price reviews, sign up for sales newspapers, or compare prices directly using the many online apps that we have today. This will allow you to nail some of the best offers online and help you to save on a number of items.

Start The Negotiation
. Think of it like this, you can ask for discounts if you pay cash, or you can ask for a discount on an item that hasn’t moved in months (if you have been following). By this you could be surprised how much you would save and how much your electrical retailers will be willing to cut you the best deals on all your home appliances.

Your home appliances include cook tops, fridges, freezers, home theatres, audio systems, fans, washing machines and many others. When shopping around, they often seem pretty expensive. However with these tips the story could be different.

5 Golden Tips That Will Help You With Skincare Routine Everyday

The basis of a great and healthy looking skin is ideal skin care. Meaning there are a number of essential habits we should all practice in order to care for our skins and have a healthy skin all year long. I have sampled a number of them from certified dermatologists and compiled them in this post. Check them to find out the most essential skincare habits you could be missing out on today.

Know Your Skin Type. This is the first rule of proper skin care. Knowing your skin type helps in designing a result oriented skin care regimen. It will determine the types of skin care products to use and what quantities of active ingredients to look out for. There are four basic types of skins, dry, oily, sensitive, and normal skins and they all require different forms of care. So talk to your skin doctor to advice you accordingly.

Find The Right Products. Don’t rush into using any skin care products because you want to get rid of that acne outburst, no! It could end up worse than you had anticipated. Here is the thing, depending on your skin type find the right products and ideal quantities of all active parts. You will need to understand the servings you need for your Wrinkle Reducer including retinol, fast moisturizers, hyrdoxil acids, and vitamins.

Go With Gentle Cares. Your facial care routine must be gentle. Your skin is very much delicate. Therefore cleanse gently. Use mild soaps, detergents, and hypoallergenic products. Also look out for fragile areas including the eye contours and lips. They need special routines since they are extremely sensitive. The same should apply for any forms of makeup that you choose to work with on these specific areas.

Exfoliation Is Vital. You can never enjoy a radiant and glowing skin unless you exfoliate. Your skin regenerates everyday to reveal a new layer that is healthier and very much radiant. However in the process of doing so the old dead cells that your skin discards are often left layering above the newly revealed skin. This layer makes the skin dull and unattractive. In order to keep the skin radiant this layer must be done away with before applying that dermactiv skin care products and exfoliation will do exactly that.

Watch Out For Stress. There are factors that will cause stress to your skin. They include normal stress, smoke, pollutants, unstable molecules, and other highly volatile substances. When they all cause stress to your skin the skin’s collagen and elastin will get damaged and your skin will look ugly and dull. In order to make your skincare routine more result oriented, protect your skin from all these stresses when you leave the house and cleanse thoroughly when you get back.

A healthy skin will leave you looking beautiful. It will give you a great confidence boost and will even enhance how your skin regenerates to counter damages. Therefore it is very important that you always take care of your skin appropriately every day.

Beginner Skier: All The Top 6 Newbie Questions Answered

Jetting off for your first ever skiing experience can be full of excitement and many “unknowns.” Well you are not alone. Even those pro skiers that you have admired from the very first day had their worries when they first stepped out to ski. But to help you calm and have a memorable first time skiing experience, we went out of our way and gathered some of the common questions beginners often ask with their respective answers. Take a look!

What should I pack in my ski-case?
You are going for a ski holiday? There are many things that you could pack they include mobile phones, passports, skis, ski boots, gloves, snowboards, thermal underwears, sunglasses, scarves, and so many other stuff. Check out this post Top 5 Things to Pack for an Awesome Skiing Experience for many other things that you can pack.
What should I take time to learn?
There are a number of things that every skier should learn including signs, slangs, skiing itself, snowboarding, a few exercises to get you fit, and above all that how to relate with other skiers. And all these are important really if you can’t figure out what to learn my advice to you is simple, hire a professional trainer or enroll to any ski school and you will have an easy time.
Will it always be cold out there?
Duh! Yes, you are on the mountain that’s surrounded by snow. Every single thing out there could be freezing. However there is always one exception when you are skiing or say hitting the slopes you never feel cold. Simple put that dry cold up the mountain is way different from the usual one that we experience down here, try out the Crabbe Mountain in New Brunswick, Canada and see what am’ talking about.
When is the best time to hit the slope?
Different resorts will have different peak times. Meaning it varies on when you can hit the slopes but the one thing that’s real is that the European mountains are often adequately covered in snow for lengthier period usually December – April even though it all boils down to the weather but if you want to ski that should form for some great time to head out.
Should I buy my own skis or rent?
Well you can always buy your skis if you’ve got the cash. But if it’s your very first time I advice you NOT to. Often many skiers but skiing gears, head out there only to find out that the slope is not for them. This can be quite disappointing as you will get stuck with an expensive gear for the rest of your life. Only buy if you have been out a couple of times and want non returnable set.
What equipments can I borrow or rent?
Often many guys will offer boots, skis, and poles. Helmets are also available for rent and so can be the snow boards. But check out with your skiing insurance cover before renting any expensive skiing equipment for that lifetime skiing experience on Mont Farlagne.
Every pro skier was once a newbie and every newbie is a potential pro skier. However it all starts from somewhere. That’s why the skiing basics are as important as hitting the slope itself. Since it starts with learning the basics every skier should always try as much to get the best answer for all questions that often bombarded them when they first hit the slope.

The Top 6 Best Fashion Moments of the 2015 Oscars

I can’t quite seem to forget the memories of the 2015 Oscars. This glamorous award winning show was at its best again with a lot of styled up actors and nominees. And as always one thing was to remain quite vivid, the awesomeness of the breathtaking fashion that walks this grand ceremony. In 2015 it wasn’t any different and here are the top 10 celebrity fashion moments that really stole the show.

Julianne Moore – Chanel Haute Couture

Awesome, period! Julianne looked stunning in this sequin gown that had a fantastic touch of floral embroidery. Word has it that the dress knocked 1000 hours to work on and that it took up to 27 guys to complete it. Whatever the price, it was worth it. This dress simply took the number one surprise spot in my list.

Reese Witherspoon – Tom Ford Design

If there is something better that could describe sophistication at its simplest level is the one dress Reese wore to the banquet of the stars. If your jaw didn’t drop when you came face to face with this curve hugging black and white Tom Ford design then your test for fashion is simply off! At harpersbazaar they called it timeless, you know what that means.

Dakota Johnson – Saint Laurent Design

When I saw Dakota, the main starlet in the fifty shades of gray her sultry chic embellished gown swept me off my feet with its one shoulder design, and the smooth flare that it flowed with to the ground. This red dress gave her the sweet naïve look that a teen gets on her prom night. I guess it all boils down to the one thing - Saint Laurent took this day home.

Rosamund Pike – Givenchy Design

I can’t quite remember anything like it. But Pikes crimson lace Givenchy looked daring, flawless and elegant on her. You don’t quite see anything like that every day, and if the red hot heels and a smokin’ haute legs didn’t do the trick in making the dress to stand out, its sleeveless design did. Something was right on point and it matched up with that red carpet event sweetly.

Lupita Nyong’o – Calvin Klein Gown

Pearls, colored stones, and vintage ornaments don’t come easy, not even in reign costumes. Such are only associated with style, class, glamour, and beauty and Lupita adorned them all with just one gown. White, flowing to the red carpet, and featuring 6000 hand sewn pearls, Lupita’s style will down the annals of history for one of a kind Calvin Klein touch.

Naomi Watts – Armani Prive Gown

I don’t really have the words to describe Naomi’s gown on the Oscars red carpet. But let me say it was ridiculously sexy. Tiled, black and white, and with a few sensual cutouts, Naomi Watts was in my own words super cool. getting such a hott body with a stylish dress is never easy and this actress nailed it.

Fashion is ever evolving and we are yet to see much more. Looking at the many fashion oriented TV shows that we have today such as Glee, PLL, Reign, and Game of Thrones among others, I would say the renaissance fashion is the next big hit and reign clothing could be the next red carpet talk of town.

5 Guaranteed Ways That Will Maximize Your Marketing Agency Profits

Many agencies could grow overnight if they focused on the right business strategies. However since the demand for digital services are increasing by day, many digital agencies are finding it quite difficult to attract new clients, retain their regular client base, and maintain their profits. It is because of this same reason that we took time to talk to some successful digital businesses and compiled these 5 easy tips that will help you to maximize your digital agency’s profits.

Have Quantifiable Services

Services that can be scaled or quantified will help your team to grow their focus and eventually increase their efficiency. They will help you to carry out employee appraisals, define employee responsibilities, set tangible goals, and provide specific tools for excellence. Alan Refaeli, the CEO of Digital Bulldogs says, that when using such scalable process you should focus on key service management areas such as client on-boarding, invoicing, and business development.

Look For Financial Stability

Depending on your financial equation, you should focus on measures that allow you to gain stability. For instance if you are struggling with payrolls and utility bills, the best thing to do would be to downsize, get an affordable space, or scrap off other services that you don’t need. You could also plan for short term goals instead of long term options. Working with an expert data monetization firm will also be a viable process. Your main focus here is to stay afloat.

Rethink Business Development

Don’t wait until the last minute to realize that the business development you’ve been pursuing isn’t really viable. Instead come up with very practical options that could help you to find out if your development plan is indeed viable. After that come up with ideal ways to streamline quotes, presentation, and closing activities. Without such a process you’ll spend so much money on your business development only to hit the rock when it is late. Alan Refaeli, advices businesses to use ideal programs such as the Marketing Score.

Show A Great Track Record

What is it that you do? How do you do it? Are you able to provide full client satisfaction? How can you rate your overall performance? Do you have a practical feedback plan? All these are top questions that every digital agency should be asking. You want to find out if indeed you’ve been driving leads and sales to the best of your capacity. If you have a direct and measurable impact on your clients then selling your services and raking in profits will be as easy.

Go With Value Based Pricing

Alan Refaeli, the CEO of Digital Bulldogs again says that often most digital agencies fail to quantify their services and relate them to their pricing. He says that highly strategic activities such as setting up a crisis communication plan should be charged equivalently to their perceived value. And that the agency should use supply and demand laws to their advantage. This way they can create a formula that is quite reputable and result oriented.
